Colston was a MONKEY for his very first halloween and he was so freakin adorable!!! LOVE IT! We had fun trick or treating all the grandparents. I'm so excited for many more holidays with my sweet guy! He makes everything 100% more exciting!

My wonderful man is crazy about HUNTING! He is so passionate about hunting and fishing it's nuts! But I love that he has this sport! I know how freakin excited he is to teach our little guy all about the outdoors and he can't wait to make memories of it with him! So this year was harder than normal for me because we had a 10week old son. Chris usually leaves for the entire week. So my mom came and stayed with me for the first weekend. We had fun and I'm thankful she stayed to break me in a little bit. I cried a few times I won't lie! lol. Chris came home half way in the week cuz he missed us:) He went back up and got a 4 point. WE LOVE OUR DADDY and glad he's home:)

I am just so very truly in love with my sweet baby Colston!! I am loving every minute of being his mommy. Seriously life could not get any more amazing! He had his 2 month check up at the doctor yesterday and I can hardly wrap my mind around the fact that he is already 2 months old. But anyway he is now 11LBS. 9oz. 22 1/2inches. He is growin and it's so fun to watch him explore and learn new things all the time. Thanks to a wonderful book "Baby Wise" and great support from my friends Angie and Alesha, Colston is on a nice schedule and I'm telling you it's like clock work! He eats every 3 hours is awake for 1 and naps for 2. He has been sleeping threw the night for about 2 weeks and it is heaven! I just love the little guy he is so happy and smiley! An hour after he was born he was suckin his cute thumb and found it a few times in the first month but lately he has been trying soooo hard to get the hang of it and bless his little heart he found it! I have to say I think it is so freakin cute! (right now) He is holding his head up so good and is wanting to stand! Goodness:) He loves bathtime with daddy!!! He is such a good sport about EVERYTHING!! I feel lucky! Being a mama is by far the most rewarding thing I've ever done in my life. I have discovered what unconditional love really is. Motherhood rocks!!! Yes some things are challenging and the decisions you have to make for the little one can be rough but I wouldn't trade it for anything I love a challenge:) Looking forward to many more sweet memories!

Our little man is a month old! He is learing, growing and changing so much every single day it is incredible!! The past 4 weeks have been AMAZING even though I am exhausted:) Probably due to the fact that I'm runnin on 3 hours of sleep? Anyway he had his first real responsive smile yesterday 9/9/09. I tried to catch it on camera but missed 5 times! He loves this green frog that jinggles, we were playin havin fun and all the sudden he cracks a huge smile from ear to ear! My heart melted... oh man there is nothin better! I did it again just to be sure it was for real and sure enough... smile number 2! PRECIOUS. When Chris came home for lunch I showed him and he about cried! (hopefully he's not reading this) lol. Colston is such a good baby. He is eating every three hours and it's great fun watching him explore more and more every day! We love this kid with all our hearts, he has the sweetest spirit ever! I do have to say I am totally looking forward to when he will sleep threw the night. Soon enough right?

One last prego pic... day before I delivered!

Our sweet little boy was born August 12th 2009 at 8:00p.m. weighing in at 9lbs and 21 inches!! This post has to be short and sweet and I'll post all the details later... So After 20+ hours of labor I had him c-section. I just started doing stairs a couple days ago so that's why this has taken soooo long to post. Anyways he's such an angel!!! Super good baby, great eater (obviously) and Chris and I are sooooo in love with him:) P.s. He's the best daddy in the whole world... Enjoy the pics!

Today we went to our scheduled NST (non-stress-test). Everything was normal, baby is just cozy! So we went to our doctor exam after and found out I'm dialated between a 3 & 4 now but baby's head is still up pretty high at a -2 station... So Dr. Smith scraped my membranes & has scheduled me to be induced thursday if the little man doesn't come on his own before then. Chris and I did everything we could think of this weekend to nudge things along for fun. We went and ate the "labor inducing pizza" from cafe trio, we went for a hike/walk around the lake in the mountains, bounced on the birth ball, tried the "what get's em in, get's em out" trick.... you know, all the old wives tales. I am not in any pain. I'm still able to sleep even though it's interupted by frequent potty breaks. So I'm doing well. We are so dang excited to meet our little boy though, so we wish he'd come on his own... soon!!

So I had my 39 1/2 week check up today and I am dilated between a 2-3 and 70% effaced! So that is great news. I'm feeling great! Everything on my "check list" is checked!! (That feels awesome, I feel as prepared as one could be) and so now I've been reading and enjoying the peace I feel right now. Wonder when he'll arrive?!! :)

We have 5 days left until our official due date August 8th!! It is so hard to wrap my mind around the fact that we will have a son before we know it! I am so excited to finally see my Colston and give him all our love. This pregnancy has been amazing and such a dream! I feel so extremely blessed to have been able to experience being pregnant. It has been so beautiful and perfect. The past week I have been soaking up every minute of my pregnancy, staring at my belly, enjoyed every move he makes, taking pictures of belly etc... I know I'll never get this time in my life back so I'm happy to stop and enjoy! Last week was my last day of work at the Salon... That day was very strange, I have been there for 3 and a half years!! I am taking august off and then slowly I'll start taking appointments from our home. I am going to miss the sisterhood there but I am so grateful that I get to be a stay at home mom and take care of our son, this will be an exciting new chapter in our life! I know I've made the right choice. My hubby is so sweet, the day after my last day he made an appointment for me to have a massage!! Oh heavens, it was awesome to be able to lay on my belly on the special maternity bed and RELAX! The next day I had my nails and toes done! So I feel pampered and relaxed now:0) and a little spoiled! I guess you could say that we're ready, ready as we'll ever be I guess?! The next few days I plan on just reading and relaxing... until he arrives! We have a Dr. appointment on Wednesday but I'm sure he won't have any crazy news to tell us. I'm not dialated yet, his head is down but not dropped into my pelvis. The doc says I'm measuring at 40 cm now and I've gained 24 lbs total. And yes wouldn't you believe it... my last week of pregnancy I got stretch marks:) what can ya do? I just want to thank everyone for being so supportive, generous, loving, kind and helpful with everything! We feel so blessed to have such awesome family and friends!

25 days left?! Woah! I am really looking forward to the day when our precious baby boy will be born. People keep asking me if I'm "so done being pregnant" or " oh are you just miserable?" Truth is I'm not miserable at all. I am still able to sleep well at night and I am still pretty darn comfortable. There are some days here and there that I get a bad back ache but overall I'm still doing great! No morning sickness, no heartburn, he has never been up in my ribs (I've carried him low and straigh out) no crazy cravings, no mood swings... This pregnancy has been so awesome and I've loved this wonderful time in our life! Chris has been so amazing and I'm greatful for him. We have grown so much closer and bonded in such a beautiful way. We have been busy setting up the swing, bassinet, glider, changing table etc... our home is already covered in baby stuff! It's funny how it makes everything seem so much more homier... We are not 100% set up around this nest for baby but it's all coming along, just a couple more things! I would love advice for labor or for tips and tricks you used with breastfeeding, or the first few days of baby being home!! I have a doc appointment tomorrow and so we'll see what he says!

So life has been full and exciting... hence the reason I have not posted in AGES!!! so sorry. So here is a picture blast of some of the things we've been up to! During the month of June Chris and I took the Lamaze Childbirth Class course at Alta View each monday and we loved it! I'm sorta sad it's over:( We took a tour of the hospital and pre-registered so we are ready for the hospital. My doctor appointments are every week now starting July 15th! This pregnancy has flown by for me! Honestly it has been more amazing than I ever could have imagined! So I am 35 weeks tomorrow, the doctor says I'm measuring 36 cm.. and I've gained 20 1/2 lbs. Things are lookin good! I can't wait to post some pictures of my belly photo shoot that Angelique' did a few weeks ago! oh... how precious. Woah mama! 35 weeks!

I've been very busy working on little Colston's nursery the past month. I have loved every minute of it!! So this room used to be the guest room, the first thing I did was clear out the room and closet. Chris took apart the guest bed and we transferred all that stuff to a different room. Then I went to town scrubbing the walls, baseboards, fan, blinds etc... Next was painting time! My darling mama is an expert so she came over about 2 weeks ago and we did it in a few hours as you can see I chose to just do a nice warm tan color on the walls. So here comes some good news, our friends Jared and Camille sold us their crib and glider for a deal, Jared even came over and helped Chris set up the crib! THANK YOU:) So the next thing to do was get a crib mattress, My mom and I went and got that today... making it possible to finally put the adorable bedding on that my Dad and Lynne gave us a while back. I washed and ironed it all and it really looks so stinking cute! Really this was a team effort together family and friends helped get this nursery put together and I am so thankful for every ones help and support! It means so much to me!!:) I'll take more pictures once we get the entire nursery complete!:) So fun! Just paintin the little man's nursery, being a silly dork as usual!*

Mother's Day!

Oh my goodness... Mothers Day was so awesome! I hope everyone had a wonderful day! Ok so I had no expectations what-so-ever this year but of course... how could I forget I have to sweetest hubby ever who adores me:) Anyway, we woke up and he took me out to breakfast at Johanna's Kitchen (our fav) and we had a great time! Then when we got home he gave me gifts!!! What?! Yeah so thoughtful too... the best thing was a prenatal massage certificate (which I did on Thursday and it was heaven!) a really sweet heartfelt card, a motherhood secrets book and a precious willow tree figure called "awaiting a miracle." Then he cleaned the house and helped me get all the food ready for our families for later on in the day!!! I love you CHRIS!! Later that afternoon we had his mama and family over for a light lunch and Mother's Day celebration... and that evening we had my mama and brothers over for dessert and a movie! Such a good day. I found myself pondering all day about our little man and what our life will be like as a family!!! :) Time is flyin by I'm officially in my 3rd trimester! 28 weeks! Man oh man!

Chris had a week of vacation he had to take or it would vanish so, we had a great week together! So nice spending extra time together. (MUCH NEEDED TIME:) We slept in, stayed up late, watched a bunch of movies, went out to lunch a few times, made breakfast together, worked around the house on little projects, he cooked me dinner twice (lucky me) and he was able to get caught up on his side businesses. Anyway it was great! Thanks babe for bein my P.I.C. this week... We went grocery shopping and I am so excited to cook and bake this week, we got some good stuff at the store. I usually do the meal planning and shopping (I am very frugal and Chris isn't ..he throws anything in the cart. I have to admit it was fun!) Few things that are on my mind that I just wanna rattle off:
1.I am so exited to watch Biggest Loser and AI this week (my fav shows)
2.I can't wait to paint the nursery!!
3. I'm so happy I started going to church 8 months ago.
It has added so much love and joy into my life.
4. I love being prego and I'm so thankful to be.
5. I adore my husband and best friend I am so so so lucky!!!
This post is kinda random but it feels good to express a few of the silly things in my mind. :)

I am sooooo excited for SPRING TIME... enough of the teaser days! I want the real deal! Easter weekend was awesome! We spent a lot of time with family doing annual traditions: egg hunts, breakfast and dinners! So fun! I love all the colors of Easter. The cutest little girl gave an amazing talk in church it brought me to tears... 41/2 years old and the spirit was so strong!! Chris' grandma Jan is doing soooo much better! We went to visit her today and I did her nails, she is so dang adorable! It's really hard to imagine that she has been in a hospital for 2 1/2 months. She is now in a rehabilitation hospital and she is drinking, eating, talking, sitting up and even walkin with a walker! Her trek hole is almost all the way healed now too so we are very very thankful she is improving more and more each day! A couple more weeks and she'll be home:) Bless her heart. Pregnancy wise I have been feeling awesome. I am measuring right on track 23 cm but everyone thinks my baby belly is huge because I'm so tiny it just pokes straight out! Kinda funny. The doc says everything is going great I have gained 13 pounds thus far... crazy that the whole process just takes over and does it's thing! I am in awe, such a miracle and I'm so thankful to be experiencing pregnancy and bringing a spirit into the world and creating a family with my darling hubby. Speaking of my man he has been quite the little entrepreneur lately. So busy establishing these new companies because he says he wants to spend as much time as possible raising his kiddos. He is awesome! Here are some new pics of my belly 23 weeks along now!! WOOT WHOOT!

The past few weeks have been really just.....well... chill! I love it. I don't have time to upload my pics from my camera to go along with this post but I will in the next few days!:) We are going the the Jazz game here shortly!! So here's what we have been up to real quick! Picking out paint swatches for nursery, registering for our baby stuff at Babies R Us (sooo soooo soooo fun!) I finally had my wedding dress cleaned and preserved, catching up on all our picture ordering (dang digital cameras:) Chris started up his very first business with his friend Ray (seperate post), I bought fabric to make my lil man a blankie, Chris has been ice fishing every weekend, I have been working out regularly and love it! Work, cookin, bakin, scrapbookin... Nothing too crazy! Life is awesome.

Have a look at this handsome guy!

We had our 4 1/2 month ultrasound and doctors appointment today, it was by far the most incredible thing I've ever experienced!! It was obvious right from the start were havin a little baby boy and we are THRILLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We plan on naming him Colston Cash Tisdale.... It's so amazing the technology they have now, and I'm so thankful. Today was by far one of the best days of my life so far.... Chris feels the same way! Of course he has known all along his little buddy boy was in there, I had a feeling it was a boy but never wanted to say much just incase:) LET THE SHOPPING BEGIN!!! I have so much I want to say but so much to do:) Enjoy!

I can't even begin to explain how excited I am getting!!! 51/2 more days until our ultrasound appointment!! That means we get to find out what the lil boo boo is!:) Colston Cash or Makaylee Grace...... According to all the old wives tales and little test and quizzes it's a boy... But everyone and I mean EVERYONE tells us it's a girl. Only time will tell and it's just around the corner! I'm 171/2 weeks along now and I have had a lil soft baby bump... until now... haha:) All the sudden it feels like I hit a growth spurt! My tummy is so tight and growing! It's absolutely amazing. I feel so blessed to be experiencing pregnancy and I soak up every single minute! I love it!

In other news, last week my sweet hubbster had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted, a root canal and all of his old cavity fillings replaced with the new latest and greatest... all in one day!!! He was such a trooper... plus no pain pills just Tylonol. I will have to post some pics in a few days of my growing belly and a pic of him sleeping the day of his dental day later on... I will also post a pic of the lil boo boo's ulta sound with the exciting news next week!

February 11th we had our 2nd doc visit (last week)... we were both really excited because this visit we were able to hear the heart beat for the very first time. It was AMAZING. Who cares that we had to wait in the waitning room for 45 minutes before being called back! lol. Hearing our babis heart beat for the very first time was amazing! It brought an instant HUGE smile to my face that I couldn't wipe off the rest of the day! :) All my testing came back wonderful and the visit was a good one! Oh yeah the heart rate was 144 bpm.

This year for Valentines we decided to not make any plans and just have a surprise weekend.... we flew by the seat of our pants and it was soooooo nice and super fun! When I got home from work Chris had all my cute things on display at the table... So we opened our cards and gifts right then and there. It was so sweet. Next we decided to go deliver all our valentines (cupcakes and homemade valentine cards) to all our family and friends. It was fun doorbell ditchin:) Then we decided I would cook his favorite dinner meal for him and he would make my favorite dinner meal for me. So we ran to the store and got all we needed. We set the table lit a candle and cooked away in the kitchen together. SO FUN. We had a nice relaxing evening:) The next morning we woke up early and drove to heber to have breakfast at our favorite breakfast joint... the Hub, and then we went ice fishing... It was my first time with chris. I could tell he was really excited to show me how it's all done and it was fun watching him do something he enjoys so much. Next stop.... the hospital. Chris sweet grandma Jan had her hip replaced last week and has not been doing well since. they moved her to the ICU. I guess all day while we were gone with no phone service she went down hill and everyone was thinking this is it... but she kept telling all the nurses and family she wanted her grandson and asking for Christopher. We finally got there and she was so excited to see him! It was so sweet to watch him talk to her. It's no secret that they have a very strong connection and bond with one another. Usually they won't let visitors stay between 7-8:30 for shift change but the nurse said "your chris, we've been waiting for you all day. You can stay." She said as soon as he got there her blood pressure went back to normal and her heart did too. Any way she was on one last night and had us laughing so hard... She said "I give you kids anything you want.... and I can't even have a diet coke around here?!" Bless her heart.... She is doing better and we keep praying for her. She is one of the sweetest people I've ever known.

Alright so... anyone who knows us, knows Chris's passion is hunting and fishing! So this is what he has been doing every week in his spare time! ICE FISHING!!!! It makes me super happy that he has a passion and talent for fishing and hunting for several reasons but most of all he loves it and it makes him happy! Here are some pictures of the latest trip with his buddy C.A.G. and his son Brayden (rilling in his first fish.)
