I crashed my lil bros homecoming dinner!:)

My mom and I showed up unannounced at my lil brothers homecoming dinner! It was so funny to see his face! PRICELESS... We hurried and snaped a few pics! He is growing up so fast!

Master Bedroom additions...

My cute pops came over and helped me hang this shelf to our bedroom wall since there was no backing to hang it with. I love the way it turned out and it added so much to our room!!! HORRAY ... I love decorating.

PuMpKiN cHoCoLaTe ChIp CoOkIeS!!!

1/2 c.butter
1/2 c.white sugar
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 c. pumpkin
bag chocolate chips
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1tsp ginger
2tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1tsp cinnimon
1tsp nut meg
*Cream sugars and butter, beat in eggs, vanilla and lemon, stir in dry ingredients. Alternate with pumpkin. add chocloate chips. Drop by spoonful on parchment paper lined cookie sheets bake 15min @350 ENJOY!

These cookies are DELICIOUS!!! I have made two batches so far this fall! My kitchen has been filled with the wonderful aromas of these wonderful autumn cookies!! I had to share this amazing recipe and pictures!

Lake Powell...

Best friends and brothers!

Terah's father in law (randy) carved this into the red rock wall! What a cute greeting!

Chris and I went with his family and his sister Terah inlaws to Lake Powell for 5 days... It was beautiful! However we had to stay in the houseboat 80% of the time because of the dang wind then we had boat struggles and injuries. Seemed like when we'd decide the wind had died down we would attempt a boat ride and the wind would act up, if it wasn't the weather it was the boat. oh my... all you can do is laugh. We made the most of it! My favorite part was sleeping on top of the house boat under the BEAUTIFUL stars! It was so calm, cool and clear. We went on a really cool hike, watched all kinds of movies, fished, played games and just hung around family and told stories.

Let the adventure begin...

We can't wait to go to Lake Powell! I'll post lots of pics as soon as we get home... This month is going to be so fun! I need help making my blog page cute... how do you talented people do it?
