sunset on september 11th

Wow... September flew by way too fast!!! We have been loving the beautiful fall weather!! I hope it lasts! I love October too but man I wish I could SLOW DOWN this crazy busy beautiful life... Ya know? Well lets see... where to start? Oh my gosh I made the most delicious pumpkin chocolate chip cookies last week. My cute hubby always has his Grandma make a huge batch before he goes dear hunting in october so I figured I better give them a whirl and they turned out yummy! I will post the recipe soon. Did I mention how much I love fall? I went and visited my sweet Grams today... She is so special to me and I treasure every memory of her. She is such a wonderful spirit! How lucky am I to be hers? I love her! We always giggle and wind up chatting for hours... I hold these precious times close to my heart! Chris and I started working out at the new gym LIFETIME and going for walks sometimes at night. It has been incredible. I feel awesome! I've been pondering what I should do work wise lately and I really think I am going to start next semister at SLCC I would love to be a kindergarten teacher! Don't get me wrong I love doing nails but I want something more and I want to fulfill my lifelong dream of teaching. Wow... I am totally rambling about all kinds of things! So I'll stop now and jump in the bubble bath (my muscles need it) :)

Best Sunday EVER!!

Wow... today was amazing! I just really am speechless... I'm so thankful for the beautiful world in which we live! Today Chris and I drove up the canyon to Silver Lake and hiked around. It was so peaceful and pretty! Being up in mountains centers and calms my spirit. I love that feeling. Anyways... I knew today would be awesome when my honey made me breakfast! We got ready and found a place in the mall that could fix my cracked phone cover... best feeling!!! We did a little fall shopping and headed up the canyon. The leaves are starting to change... Fall is by far my most favorite season. Then after our adventure at the lake we went to dinner at his mama's! DELICIOUS... what a perfect sunday! Hope everyone has a great week!

Happy Birthday sweet hubby!!

Chris turned one year older on September 5th!! 26!! It is so crazy to think I met him when he was 20 going on 21...Five and a half years later here we are. Wow, time flies when your havin fun I guess?! So anyway for his birthday I wanted to do something different than actual "gifts." So I talked his boss into letting him work a half day on his special day and I had 3 surprises planned. My amzing husband works so super hard for everything we have and I could not me more thankful and greatful to him. So I had a day of relaxation planned ahead of us! First surprise was an hour facial... What a good sport! I knew once he was in there he would love it and he did, it immediatley put him in a calm state of mind. Then I had a couples massage booked at the Santuary Day Spa. IT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD! Just what he needed (and me) :) After the massage they brought us delicious cheese cake, berries and cheese n' crackers. Yum... They also have a giant tub filled up for us to soak in ... We showerd there and went off to the final treat... Dinner reservations at "Ruth's Chris." The food was incredible. Chris said he felt like we were on vacation. I was so happy to see him relaxing and being spoiled! HAPPY BIRTHDAY POOKIE! xoxo

Labor day

Chris and I went on a little mini trip over labor day weekend with his sis terah and her hubby brian and their friends. It was a blast!! The people we went with were so funny and awesome! It is always awesome making new friends. We went up to Starvation Friday-Monday. We went boating, wake-boarded, wake-surfed, played games, horse shoes, campfires, yummy meals, hikes, rope swing & fishing! What a great great get away! We got to use our new "TRENT" truck-tent. hahaha:) Super fun time. Hope everyone had a blast over the weekend!
